New Show Spotlight: The Aquatics Life with Wesley King 🌊

Aquatics professionals know that behind every safe and successful pool, waterpark, or aquatic facility is a dedicated team committed to safety, service, and community. Now, that world finally has a platform dedicated entirely to its voice.

DPRS Media Network is proud to introduce “The Aquatics Life,” a new weekly show hosted by longtime aquatics leader Wesley King, premiering every Friday at 1:30 PM EST.

With more than three decades in the aquatics industry, Wesley brings unmatched experience and perspective to the conversation. From his start as a lifeguard in 1995 to becoming a nationally respected consultant, trainer, and speaker, Wesley has dedicated his career to improving safety standards, developing staff, and strengthening aquatic programs across the country.

Over the years, Wesley has:

Trained more than 3,000 lifeguards through organizations including the American Red Cross, Ellis, and the YMCA

Managed large aquatic teams, including overseeing the Chicago Metro aquatics division during COVID, supporting 16 properties, 25 directors, and more than 400 lifeguards

Led major aquatic operations such as the largest year-round indoor waterpark in the continental United States at Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells

Served as General Manager of Oklahoma’s only medically based fitness center and Aquatic Director for Chicago’s only medically based fitness center, where the program earned Aquatic International Program of the Year in 2012.
